On October 26th, the West Virginia Dance Company performed at Clay County High School! The group has worked hours on their performance, ensuring that every detail is perfected. They performed their recital titled ‘Your World Through Steam”, which encompassed seven dances to represent the seven continents of the world!
Toneta, the artistic director of the company spoke about how each dance represented a continent in a different way- from salt mines to the threatened monarch butterflies. It was a beautiful presentation and the effort put into every move was obvious.
They will be performing until the 28th for the elementary and middle schools.
